We are looking for a Credit Manager KSA & NA based in Cairo, Egypt!Role OverviewOversee credit control within Saudi Arabia & North Africa region, managing credit risk, and ensuring timely payments. Develop and implement credit strategies, analyze credit applications, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Lead and mentor credit team, monitor credit portfolios, and report on credit-related matters.Key Responsibilities• Evaluate the creditworthiness of potential customers.• Conduct thorough analysis of financial statements and assessment of credit requests for new and existing credit applications,• Provide recommendations tied to analysis and assessment of credit risk.• Liaise with customers to ensure the local debt is collected in time as per agreed timelines• Supporting LC negotiations and any other financial instruments• Complete Customer account reviews including analysis of financial accounts to support new and ongoing credit facilities• Undertake Customer development/risk management visits with necessary stakeholders where appropriate• Perform analysis to support credit risk strategy, policy and process development including alternative financial offerings• Manage and action alerts/notifications from various sources to ensure risk exposure is minimized/neutralized.• Monitor and maintain overview of legal collection cases• Manage and action Customer accounts in administration/liquidation in association with the appropriate stakeholders• Production and ongoing enhancement of credit reporting, providing timely and accurate monthly reports.• Provide support as necessary on ad hoc defined projects• Up to date with legal, compliance and market risk related issues• Advises the other managers in all matters concerning credit/financing (risky invoices, credit factors, legal aspects, contentious cases…).• Identifies and takes appropriate action to collect past due accounts and solve difficult cases.• Acts as mediator in the event of a dispute between a customer and the sales team.• Follows up and administers the accounts receivable and ensures that past due accounts are collected within the prescribed time frames.• Keeps up to date on the legislative framework regulating financing/credit mattersand advises the general manager of any appropriate operational adjustments.• Ensures compliance with all government regulations and bylaws.• Takes part in management meetings.• Performs other tasks, based on management requirements and instructions.Your Qualifications• Work experience of at least 10 years in Credit Control management and team leadership• Demonstrable credit control experience with a large company with the proven ability in credit risk identification and control• This person must have the drive and confidence to interact regularly with customers & senior leader in the country sales organization• Good knowledge of credit insurance• Must have a good knowledge of collections activity• Confident, assertive, and pragmatic approach with ability to exercise judgment and discretion where appropriate.• Professional ability to work independently, under tight deadlines and make effective decisions.• Outstanding analytical skills combined with the ability to present insight and recommendations.• The role will include client facing activities, requiring a personable and inquisitive personality, with the ability to gather large amounts of relevant commercial information from business owners in a short period of time.• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation• Proficiency in MS Office Applications; Word, Excel, Outlook• Confident presentation and communication skills• Strong work ethic• Ability to lead team to meet strict deadlines and targets• Attention to detail and accuracy• Good business acumen as well decision making, interpersonal and analytical skillsAbout You• Degree educated, preferably within a numerate discipline• Good level of experience in a credit risk environment• Strong understanding of the fundamental concepts of credit risk management• Advanced Excel skills• Excellent communication and presentation skills• Demonstrable reporting experience• Be willing to travel when requiredCompany ValuesDemonstrates and embraces Westcon-Comstor values of Ambition, Integrity, Partnership and Accountability.Westcon-Comstor is a global technology distributor specialising in cybersecurity, networking, and hybrid cloud solutions.
