Data & Analytics Engineer

JOB PURPOSE:The Data Analytics Engineer serves as a key bridge between data engineering and analytics, responsible for ensuring data quality, designing robust ETL pipelines, and developing optimized data models that drive meaningful business insights. This role designs and maintains interactive dashboards and reports, working in close collaboration with stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into scalable, actionable data solutions, while upholding rigorous documentation standards for all data processes and architecture. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:• Investigate and assess data quality across datasets, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and consistency. • Analyze raw data to surface meaningful insights and identify emerging business opportunities. • Design, build, and maintain efficient and reliable ETL pipelines to ingest and transform data from diverse sources. • Develop optimized calculation and transformation layers to support business logic and analytical requirements. • Create interactive dashboards and reports that effectively visualize data and communicate insights to stakeholders. • Maintain comprehensive documentation covering data models, transformation logic, and dashboard design decisions. • Collaborate closely with business analysts, data scientists, and IT teams to align technical solutions with business goals.QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:Education:• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: • 2–3 years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence, or a closely related role. • Demonstrated experience leading or contributing to data-focused teams or projects. Technical Skills: • Expertise in data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and end-to-end data pipeline development• Strong understanding of database technologies, data lakes, and data governance frameworks.• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, with a preference for Microsoft Azure.• Proficiency with Databricks/Fabric/Snowflake, Power BI, and modern data tooling. • Strong command of SQL, Python, and data integration technologies. Soft Skills:• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic, business-oriented mindset. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously. • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
