The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and administering Cloudera environments, ensuring platform scalability, high availability, security, and performance while supporting business-critical data workloads.RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain Cloudera (CDH/CDP) infrastructure to support enterprise data storage, processing, and analyticsInstall, configure, administer, and monitor Cloudera Hadoop clusters using Cloudera ManagerManage Hadoop ecosystem components including HDFS, YARN, Hive, Impala, HBase, Spark, and KafkaPerform cluster upgrades, patch management, capacity planning, and performance tuningImplement automation and support CI/CD pipelines to improve operational efficiencyMonitor platform health and performance using tools such as Dynatrace and GrafanaEnsure platform scalability, high availability, and resource optimizationImplement security best practices including Kerberos, Ranger, and SentryManage backup, disaster recovery, and data replication strategiesCollaborate with data engineers, data scientists, IT teams, and business stakeholders to ensure the platform meets business and technical requirementsQualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field3-5 years of hands-on experience in Cloudera Administration or Data Platform EngineeringStrong experience with Cloudera CDH/CDP administration and Hadoop ecosystem technologiesHands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologiesExperience with Apache Kafka, streaming platforms, and distributed data systemsStrong knowledge of infrastructure monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and GrafanaExperience implementing CI/CD automation and infrastructure best practicesStrong understanding of system performance optimization, scalability, security, backup, and disaster recoveryExcellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills
