🌍 About MafroozMafrooz is Egypt’s pioneering digital sustainability platform, transforming waste management and material tracking into measurable climate impact.We build intelligent systems that connect individuals, recyclers, and factories through smart data and IoT tools — helping industries measure, reduce, and monetize their carbon footprint.Our mission: to make sustainability a tangible, data-driven reality across Egypt’s industrial and environmental ecosystem.⸻🎯 Role OverviewWe are seeking a Digital Sustainability & Environmental Partnerships Lead — a visionary who can bridge technology, sustainability standards, and national climate initiatives, ensuring that Mafrooz contributes effectively to Egypt’s sustainability and decarbonization goals.⸻🧩 Key Responsibilities • Build and manage partnerships with key entities such as: • Egyptian Organization for Standardization (EOS) • Ministry of Environment (EEAA) • Industrial factories and sustainability departments • Regional and international sustainability programs (UNDP, GIZ, RCREEE) • Translate frameworks like CBAM, ESG, ISO 14001, and ISO 14064 into digital workflows within Mafrooz’s platform. • Collaborate with data and IoT teams to design carbon-tracking models and emission reports. • Lead the preparation of Sustainability & Carbon Performance Reports for industrial partners. • Represent Mafrooz in sustainability forums, conferences, and cross-sector collaborations. • Identify carbon credit and offset opportunities based on collected material data. • Develop policy briefs and white papers on the role of digital technology in sustainability transformation.⸻💼 Required Skills & Experience • 5+ years of experience in sustainability, ESG, or environmental policy (preferably in Egypt or MENA). • Strong knowledge of carbon accounting, circular economy, and emission reporting tools. • Experience working with or within governmental or semi-governmental sustainability entities (EEAA, EOS, GIZ, etc.). • Familiarity with digital systems, IoT, or environmental data analytics (Power BI or data APIs is a plus). • Excellent communication and partnership-building skills — ability to work with both engineers and policymakers. • Fluency in Arabic and English, written and spoken.⸻🌱 Personal Attributes • Strategic and analytical thinker • Passionate about technology-driven sustainability • Strong network in environmental or industrial sectors • Confident communicator and collaborator • Entrepreneurial mindset with a purpose-driven approach⸻🚀 Why Join Mafrooz • Be part of Egypt’s first digital sustainability infrastructure • Work with a cross-disciplinary team building the future of waste and carbon tracking • Shape how technology serves national and global sustainability goals • Contribute to tangible environmental and social impact • Potential to evolve into a Strategic Partner or Co-Founder role based on performance⸻💡 Engagement TypeInitial Phase: Part-time / Advisory collaboration (3-month pilot)Future Scope: Potential for full-time leadership or equity-based partnership💬 Interested?
