Role DescriptionThis full-time Direct Sales Agent role is a hybrid position based in Cairo, Egypt, combining on-site work with some flexibility to work from home. The Direct Sales Agent will identify and approach prospective customers, present MetLife’s insurance and financial products, and recommend tailored solutions that meet individual needs and goals. Daily responsibilities include managing a sales pipeline, conducting needs analyses, preparing proposals and quotations, and following up to close sales and achieve or exceed targets. The role involves providing responsive customer service, handling inquiries and policy questions, and maintaining accurate records of interactions and sales activities in company systems. The Direct Sales Agent will collaborate with colleagues in sales, customer service, and operations, adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements, and participate in ongoing training and coaching to strengthen product knowledge and selling skills.QualificationsStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust-based relationships with diverse customers and colleagues.Clear, professional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain financial products in an accessible way.Customer service orientation, with experience responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience.High level of integrity, accountability, and respect for confidentiality and regulatory standards.Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage time and priorities independently, and use digital tools.Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
