About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled ECU Requirements Engineer to join our automotive infotainment and digital cockpit development team. In this role, you will define, analyze, and maintain detailed ECU specifications for next-generation cockpit systems built on the Snapdragon SA8255 platform. You will collaborate closely with system architects, software and hardware engineers, validation teams, and external partners to ensure requirements are clear, consistent, and fully traceable.This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about embedded systems and high-quality automotive software.Project OverviewYou will contribute to delivering advanced in-vehicle digital experiences through:Android/AOSP-based infotainment applicationsQNX/Linux-based instrument cluster softwareAs part of the requirements engineering team, you will play a critical role in defining ECU behavior, interfaces, performance expectations, and system interactions across the digital cockpit ecosystem.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain ECU specifications for existing and new ECUs based on system, functional, and performance requirementsTranslate stakeholder and system requirements into detailed, structured ECU documentationEnsure full traceability from system requirements to ECU specifications and test casesCollaborate with architecture, software, hardware, and validation teams to ensure feasibility and correct implementationSupport testing and validation by clarifying ECU behavior, reproducing issues, and assisting in root cause analysisParticipate in design reviews, requirement discussions, and defect triage sessionsMonitor platform updates and ensure ECU documentation remains aligned with evolving featuresRequired QualificationsStrong understanding of ECU architecture, embedded systems, and automotive software developmentExperience working with Snapdragon SA8255 or similar Qualcomm SA8xxx series SoCsHands-on experience in requirements engineering and specification writing (e.g., Codebeamer, DOORS, Jama, Polarion)Knowledge of automotive communication and platforms such as CAN, Ethernet, UDS diagnostics, middleware, BSP, Android/AAOS, or QNXAbility to analyze logs, test results, and issues to support root cause analysisExperience working with QA/validation teams in defect analysis and requirement clarificationStrong communication skills and ability to simplify complex technical conceptsWhat We OfferOpportunity to work on cutting-edge digital cockpit and infotainment technologiesCollaborative and innovative engineering environmentExposure to global automotive programs and platformsCompetitive compensation and benefitsCareer growth and continuous learning opportunities
