Their team works closely with architects and interior designers to create stunning lighting designs that enhance any environment.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt, for an Electrical Engineer. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and solutions tailored to high-end lighting projects. Core responsibilities include Lighting Control Systems and Central Battery Systems (CBS) to join our growing team., creating electrical layouts, analyzing system performance, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The role will also involve collaborating with the project team to address technical challenges and deliver optimized lighting designs.Key Responsibilities:Design and review Lighting Control and Central Battery System (CBS) layouts, schematics, and control logic.Develop detailed wiring diagrams, SLDs, and integration plans with BMS, DALI, KNX, or DMX systems.Supervise installation, configuration, and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.Conduct system programming, scene setting, and interface testing (DALI, DMX, BACnet, or Modbus).Prepare and review material submittals, method statements, and shop drawings.Coordinate with consultants and site teams for inspections, testing, and approvals.Ensure compliance with EN 50172, EN 60598-2-22, and relevant IEC standards.Provide technical support during project handover and operation phases. Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.Minimum 4 years of experience in Lighting Control and CBS design & commissioning.Strong knowledge of DALI, KNX, DMX, and CBS protocols and systems Experience using AutoCAD, Dialux, and lighting control software tools.Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.Preferred Skills:Experience integrating lighting systems with BMS platforms.Strong understanding of smart building technologies.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
