Together, we achieve more in a safe, inclusive and collaborative environment.As our global business continues to grow, we are looking for a passionate and motivated Electrical Technician to join our team at the Suez Plant.Can you say ‘yes’?Do you treat your colleagues with respect?Do you keep the customer in mind in everything you do?Do you act with future generations in mind?Do you actively seek opportunities to grow and develop?Do you have a proven track record of delivering results?What we’d like you to haveMinimum 5 years of experience as an Electrical Technician in an industrial or manufacturing environmentGood practical experience in electrical maintenance, fault-finding and troubleshootingHands-on experience with automation systems, PLCs and instrumentationWorking knowledge of SINAMICS, TIA Portal and Siemens S7 troubleshootingAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings, manuals and schematic diagramsA strong commitment to health, safety and teamworkKey responsibilitiesCarry out periodic inspections to identify defects and help prevent unplanned breakdownsInstall, test, repair and maintain electrical systems in accordance with electrical codes, manuals and schematic diagramsInstall power supply wiring and conduit for new machines and equipmentMonitor, adjust and troubleshoot automation systems, PLCs, instrumentation and industrial control signalsDiagnose faults in motors, inverters/drives and lighting systems using appropriate test equipmentReplace faulty components such as relays, contactors, circuit breakers, switches, sensors and motorsDiagnose, repair or replace electronic components, including printed circuit boardsPerform preventive maintenance activities according to plan and record required electrical measurementsPrepare daily reports for line management on electrical issues and follow-up actionsRecord and confirm working hours in the SAP systemComply at all times with company safety policies, procedures and standardsSupport the implementation of the company’s annual investment plansWork closely with the maintenance team and other departments, demonstrating a strong team spiritFounded in 1932, Knauf is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of construction materials for interior design, building insulation, and design ceilings.Knauf entered the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia (MEASA) in 1997.
