We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Embedded & PLC Systems Engineer to join our engineering team in Borg El Arab. This role plays a key part in the design, development, and continuous improvement of control systems for medical equipment.The ideal candidate will combine expertise in industrial automation (PLC systems) and embedded systems development to ensure our devices operate with maximum reliability, precision, and full compliance with international medical standards.Key Responsibilities1. System Design & DevelopmentDesign, develop, and optimize control systems using PLCs (e.g., Siemens S7, Delta, Schneider).Develop and debug embedded firmware (C/C++) for microcontroller-based systems.Implement HMI/SCADA interfaces for monitoring and control.2. Hardware IntegrationSelect, integrate, and validate sensors (pressure, temperature, level) and actuators (valves, pumps, heaters).Interpret and develop electrical schematics and P&IDs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration.3. Quality, Safety & ComplianceEnsure compliance with relevant medical standards (e.g., ISO 13485, IEC 60601).Execute validation and verification (V&V) activities for system performance and safety.Support audits, documentation, and regulatory requirements.4. Installation & Technical SupportProvide on-site or remote support for installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.Assist in training technical staff and end users when needed. Technical RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Communications, or related field.PLC Expertise: Strong experience in PLC programming (Ladder Logic, Structured Text) and HMI/SCADA systems.Embedded Systems: Proficiency in C/C++ for microcontrollers (ARM, AVR, STM32).Control Systems: Solid understanding of PID control, thermal systems, and pressure regulation.Communication Protocols: Familiarity with protocols such as Modbus, CAN, UART, or I2C.Documentation: Ability to prepare technical documentation (SRS, manuals, BOMs).Preferred QualificationsMinimum 3 years of experience in medical devices or industrial automation.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Languages: Fluent Arabic and good command of technical English.Based in or near Alexandria (preferred).
