Role Objectives To implement and monitor EHS programs and food safety practices within Breadfast food manufacturing facilities, ensuring full compliance with local regulations and company standards, while fostering a culture of safety, health, and environmental sustainability across all operations. Roles & Responsibilities:1. Occupational Health & SafetyIdentify workplace hazards and recommend preventive measures.Conduct risk assessments, Job Safety Analyses (JSA), and safety inspections.Enforce the use of PPE and monitor compliance across all production areas.Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.2. Food Safety & HygieneEnsure hygiene and sanitation practices align with HACCP, ISO 22000, and local food safety regulations.Collaborate with QA/QC teams to support food handling, storage, and contamination prevention.Monitor cleaning schedules, pest control logs, and hygiene audits3. Legal Compliance & DocumentationStay updated on Egyptian labor, food safety, and environmental regulations.Maintain and organize HSE records: training logs, inspection checklists, SDSs, waste tracking, etc.Support regulatory inspections and customer audits. 4. Training & EngagementDeliver HSE and food safety training to new and existing employees.Organize safety drills (fire, evacuation, chemical spill) and awareness campaigns.Promote employee involvement through safety committees or suggestion programs. 5. Environmental ManagementMonitor energy, water, and waste metrics; suggest reduction initiatives.Support implementation of environmental management programs (e.g., recycling, composting, emissions control).Coordinate proper storage, labeling, and disposal of hazardous materials.Required Knowledge, Education & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Food Technology, or related field.Minimum 3 years of HSE experience in food manufacturing or FMCG.Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, and local HSE regulations.Certifications like NEBOSH, ISO 45001, or OSHA are a plus.Strong reporting and analytical skills; proficient in Microsoft Office and HSE software.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsCommunication and training abilities across departmentsProactive mindset with continuous improvement focusCapable of influencing safety culture on the production floorWorking Conditions:• Primarily based in an industrial or manufacturing environment.• Requires shift work, including weekends, nights, and holidays if needed
