The Export Accounts Manager will be responsible for managing and growing key international accounts, ensuring that distributors, retailers, and foodservice partners abroad can rely on Emkay Foods as a consistent, professional, and proactive supplier. This role goes beyond closing sales — it’s about building trust, maintaining world-class standards, and relentlessly working to deliver value and reliability to our customers across borders.Key Responsibilities1. Account Management & Customer SuccessServe as the main relationship owner for international customers, from distributors to HoReCa operators.Build and maintain trust by ensuring timely, accurate, and consistent service.Understand each customer’s unique needs and proactively adapt Emkay’s offerings to fit.Ensure international customers feel supported — acting as their advocate inside Emkay Foods.2. International Standards & ComplianceEnsure all export operations meet international food safety, quality, and regulatory standards (Halal, ISO, HACCP, etc.).Manage and oversee export documentation, certifications, and compliance with destination-country requirements.Collaborate with operations, quality assurance, and logistics to guarantee smooth execution.3. Commercial Growth & Market DevelopmentGrow volume with existing accounts while scouting for new opportunities in target regions.Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms with a win–win approach.Develop joint business plans with customers to expand product penetration and category performance.4. On-the-Ground SupportAct as the customer’s problem-solver: when issues arise in logistics, stock, or documentation, take ownership to resolve them quickly.Travel to customer markets as needed to strengthen partnerships, build new networks, and gather on-the-ground insights.Continuously track competitor movements, pricing, and industry trends to keep Emkay’s offering ahead.5. Reporting & InsightsProvide management with clear reporting on account performance, pipeline, and forecasts.Share customer feedback and market intelligence to inform product development and strategy. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, International Trade, or related field.5+ years’ proven experience in export sales/account management (preferably in food/FMCG).Strong background in managing long-term relationships with international customers.Hands-on knowledge of international trade practices, export documentation, and compliance.Exceptional communication, trust-building, and negotiation skills.Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to hustle and make things happen.Fluency in English required; French or other languages are a strong plus.Willingness to travel frequently and work flexibly across time zones.
