JOB SUMMARY:The Financial Analyst at Cairo American College (CAC) is responsible for conducting in-depth financial analysis, creating data-driven insights, and supporting the institution's strategic financial decisions. The role involves evaluating financial statements, developing financial models, analyzing market trends, and making actionable recommendations. This position requires strong analytical and interpersonal skills to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders and ensure alignment with CAC’s financial goals.LIST OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Financial Analysis Responsibilities:Conducts detailed analyses of CAC’s financial statements, budgets, and reports to assess performance and identify improvement opportunities.Develops and maintains financial models to forecast future performance and assess investment opportunities.Conducts cost-benefit analyses and risk assessments for potential projects or initiatives.Research & Market Analysis:Researches industry-specific financial developments, including macroeconomic and business trends, to inform strategic decisions.Monitors and evaluates market conditions, regulatory changes, and global economic trends.Reporting & Communication:Prepares detailed financial reports, presentations, and insights for senior management.Translates complex financial data into clear, actionable information for a variety of stakeholders.Communicates financial findings and recommendations effectively to senior leadership.Strategic Support:Collaborates with department heads to align budgets and resources with CAC’s goals.Provides insights and recommendations for improving financial efficiency and effectiveness.QUALIFICATIONS:All employees at CAC are expected to relate positively to and communicate effectively with students. All employees are expected to organize work efficiently and manage time effectively.Education:Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.Advanced qualifications, such as CFA certification or a master’s degree, are preferred.Experience:Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant financial analysis experience.Experience in financial modeling, data analysis, and preparing executive-level reports.Technical Skills:Proficiency in financial software, including advanced Excel and accounting systems.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Interpersonal Skills:Excellent communication and presentation skills for effectively conveying complex information.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTSMust be able to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure when necessary.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and industry trends.
