PurposeConduct financial analysis, contributing to recommendations, and delivering actionable insights that support informed decision-making.ResponsibilitiesGather and analyze monthly balance sheets, income statements and any changes in the financial position/budget to track the financial status and generate accurate, timely financial statements, and deliver complaint, company-aligned reports. Support the business lines by researching and resolving any inquiries.Generate timely and accurate reports, perform comparisons with historical and projected data to guide strategic planning, and offer financial insights to assist with decision making on platform improvements, expansion, and diversification.Develop and maintain various financial models and standard templates for use by the team during the planning process. Use a set of financial analysis techniques, tools, and concepts to provide forecasts. And provide practical counseling to the business area and management to drive business results. Assist in implementing new business processes, work in collaboration with the Finance team and Business Managers to drive informed decisions, and continuously update outdated departmental procedures.Review all monthly management reports.Ensure compliance with all applicable AML/CTF rules and regulations as required in the conduct of the role.Ensure timely completion of all relevant AML/CTF training provided by the Group. Ensure response to AML, CTF & sanctions inquiries in a timely manner.Job Requirements1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration (preferably to have completed CPA, MBA or CFA level 1). 2. 0-3 years’ experience in financial planning & analysis in a financial institution3. Proven experience in financial analysis and modeling skills.4. Strong data gathering and data analysis skills.5. Excellent use of Microsoft Office bundle (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).6. Strong organizational skills.7. Excellent command of Arabic and English.8. Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and listening).9. Able to build partnerships and work well in teams.10. Can identify problems and refer/escalate complex issues to a higher level.11. Detail oriented; ensure deliverables are always of a high quality.12. Multi-tasker, with the ability to meet changing deadlines.13. Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and maintains a positive attitude.14.
