Financial Controller

We are hiring a Financial Controller to oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance management while leading a team of finance professionals. The role is responsible for ensuring compliance with accounting standards, improving financial controls, and providing strategic insights to support business decisions. The successful candidate will manage a team of seven and work closely with senior leadership to drive operational and financial excellence. We specialize in connecting top-tier talent with industry leaders, driving innovation, and fostering high-performance cultures across the MENA region and beyond.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the organization's financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial policies.Develop and strengthen internal controls, financial governance, and risk management practices.Monitor financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.Manage and mentor a finance team of seven, ensuring high performance and professional development.Partner with senior management to support business planning, investment decisions, and financial strategy.Drive process improvements and leverage financial data to enhance decision-making and reporting capabilities.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.10+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or financial controlling roles.Previous experience within the real estate industry is highly preferred.Proven experience leading and developing finance teams.Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.Experience with ERP systems and advanced financial reporting tools; Power BI is preferred.
