Senior Treasury Specialist

The Senior Treasury Specialist is responsible for leading the treasury operations within the company, focusing on cash management, liquidity planning, and financial risk management. This role involves overseeing cash flow forecasting, managing banking relationships, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Senior Treasury Specialist plays a crucial role in optimizing the company's financial position and enhancing treasury efficiency.Key Responsibilities: Cash Management: Lead the forecasting and management of cash flow to ensure optimal liquidity levels Oversee daily cash transactions and ensure accurate cash position reporting Banking Relationships: Manage and maintain banking relationships, including negotiating terms and banking services Monitor and reconcile bank accounts, ensuring accurate records of all transactions Financial Risk Management: Analyze and assess financial risks, developing strategies to mitigate potential exposures Monitor interest rate risk, currency risk, and other financial risks impacting the company Reporting and Compliance: Prepare detailed reports on cash management, financial transactions, and treasury activities Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies Leadership and Support: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior treasury staff Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve financial goals and optimize cash managementRequirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field 3-5 years of experience in treasury, finance, or a related role with a strong understanding of cash management principles Proven track record in managing bank relationships and financial risk Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Proficient in financial software and Excel with strong technical skills Strong leadership capabilities with effective communication skills
