This role involves managing fleet suppliers in terms of leasing and maintenance, coordinating drivers, ensuring compliance with regulations, and optimising fleet performance.The Fleet Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining the safety, reliability, and efficiency of the fleet.Position As the Fleet Specialist in the Fleet & Facilities Department, you will be responsible forFleet Operations Manage daily fleet activities, including vehicle scheduling, and driver coordination to ensure efficiency, Address driver concerns and resolve any issues related to fleet operations also to implement and enforce fleet policies and procedures to ensure efficient operationsMaintenance & Repairs Oversee preventive maintenance and repairs, ensuring all vehicles remain in optimal working condition. Coordinate with external maintenance staff and external service providers for repairs and servicing. Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairsCompliance & Safety Ensure adherence to all legal, regulatory, and safety requirements while conducting regular fleet audits. Investigate and report accidents or incidents involving fleet vehiclesCost & Budget Management Monitor expenses, optimize fuel efficiency, and implement cost-saving measures within the approved budgetReporting & Documentation Maintain accurate records including vehicle logs, maintenance records, and driver schedules.
