Duties & ResponsibilitiesAs a faculty member, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of the Faculty of Physical Therapy. Key responsibilities include:Delivering high-quality, student-centered courses in both foundational and specialized areas of the degree program.Participating in program accreditation activities and other quality assurance initiatives to support educational excellence.Engaging with stakeholders in the professional community to support teaching, research, and professional development, as well as contributing to the development of internship and practical training opportunities.Collaborating with various committees at the program, faculty, and university levels, actively contributing to the academic community.Serving as a student advisor, providing guidance and support throughout students’ academic journeys.Contributing to research activities within the faculty and supporting the development of research capacity.The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in Pediatric Physical Therapy, including Physical Therapy for Pediatric Surgical Conditions.Essential Qualifications and ExperienceBe a qualified physiotherapist eligible for professional registration and practice in the relevant jurisdiction and a member of the appropriate professional organization.Experience across multiple areas of physiotherapy practice will be highly valued, with demonstrated specialization in Pediatric Physical Therapy.Hold a PhD in Pediatric Physical Therapy or a closely related field, demonstrating expertise in the area of specialization.Demonstrate experience in the design, delivery, and evaluation of physiotherapy education programs and courses.Demonstrate research activity and scholarly outputs, including peer-reviewed publications.Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.Versatility across various physiotherapy and health-related teaching areas will be highly regarded.Application InstructionsInterested applicants are invited to submit a curriculum vitae, including employment history, a statement of research and teaching interests, a list of publications, and the names and contact details of at least three referees.For further information, please contact the Human Resources Department at hr@giu-uni.de.
