Full Professor / Associate Professor / Lecturer in Physical Therapy for Neurology and Neurosurgeries (Full-time)

Duties & ResponsibilitiesAs a faculty member, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the continuous growth and development of the faculty. Key responsibilities include:Delivering high-quality, innovative, and student-centered teaching in both foundational and specialized areas of the degree program.Participating in accreditation preparations and quality assurance initiatives to support academic excellence and continuous improvement.Engaging with stakeholders and professionals within the field to support teaching, research, and professional development activities, as well as contributing to the development of internship and practical onsite training networks.Collaborating with committees at the program, faculty, and university levels, while actively contributing to the academic community.Serving as a student advisor by providing academic guidance and support throughout students’ educational journey.Contributing to the enhancement of the faculty’s research capacity and fostering a culture of academic inquiry and innovation.Teaching and supporting courses related to Physical Therapy for Neurology and Physical Therapy for Neurosurgeries.Essential Qualifications and ExperienceQualified physiotherapist eligible for professional registration and licensed to practice in the relevant country, with membership in a recognized professional organization.Experience across multiple areas of physiotherapy practice will be highly valued, particularly in Physical Therapy for Neurology and Neurosurgeries.PhD in Physical Therapy for Neurology and Neurosurgeries, demonstrating strong expertise in the area of specialization.Showcase Evidence of teaching excellence in the design, delivery, and evaluation of physiotherapy entry-to-practice education programs and courses.Demonstrated record of research activities and academic outputs, including grants and peer-reviewed publications.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.Versatility across a range of physiotherapy and health-related teaching areas will be considered an asset.Application InstructionsInterested applicants are invited to submit the following:Curriculum Vitae (CV) (including employment history)Statement outlining teaching and research interestsList of publicationsNames and contact details of at least three refereesFor further information, please contact the Human Resources Department at hr@giu-uni.de.
