Role Objectives:The General Accountant is responsible for managing daily accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. The role supports financial operations through handling journal entries, reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, and required regulatory filings, contributing to reliable financial reporting and efficient business operations.Roles & ResponsibilitiesReview all accounting transactions and ensure all entries are recorded correctly based on the requirementsPrepare, review, and submit required filings through the ETA portalPrepare weekly detailed revenue orders reports using raw dataMaintain Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable recordsHandle day-to-day accounting operations and financial transactionsMaintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are promptly resolvedReview accounts receivable & accounts payable and finalize pending issuesPrepare, review and post journal entriesAssist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reportsAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisRequired Education, Knowledge, And SkillBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related fields2–3 years of experience in related fieldAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excels)Experience with accounting software / ERP systemVery good communication skillsGood in English
