Connectalents, a leading recruitment & HRO company in MENA, is currently hiring a GL Accountant based in Sheraton, Cairo, for a logistics and transportation company specializing in automobile transportation, door-to-door services, and land freight across Saudi Arabia and Egypt.About your new role:Review daily petty cash expenses and ensure they are used for authorized purposesEnsure all required signatures and approvals are in place according to delegated authorityEnsure compliance with internal financial policies and regulationsManage the month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals, prepayments, and intercompany settlements.Reconcile book balances with actual balances and verify accuracy on a regular basisFollow up on missing documents or approvals in coordination with relevant departmentsPrepare and submit periodic reports on observations and discrepancies to the finance departmentSupport internal and external audit activitiesWhat Makes You A Great FitBachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field3–5 years of experience in accounting or financial control/reviewProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsSolid understanding of accounting principles and internal controlsAbility to prepare financial reportsExperience working with ERP systemsHow to ApplyInterested candidates are encouraged to send their updated CV to "nour.h@connectalents.com" with the subject “GL Accountant"
