Take advantage of new opportunities and take on exciting tasks and attractive positions with direct customer assignment.Job DescriptionJob TitleGeometry Technician – Gap & Flush Measurements (Monorail)LocationCairo, EgyptEmployment TypeFixed-Term Contract / Short-Term AssignmentDuration2 monthsStart DateImmediate StartThe Geometry Technician will be responsible for carrying out gap and flush measurements in accordance with the provided measurement procedures and control references.The role involves performing measurements on train interfaces, documenting findings accurately, supporting non-conformity evidence collection through photos, and producing structured deliverables for each vehicle inspected.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform Gap & Flush Measurements according to the provided measurement methodologyCarry out inspections on monorail vehicles, including head cars and central carsUse measurement gauges and related tools to record interface dimensions and conformity statusPrepare and complete inspection records / PVs for each vehicleCapture photo evidence for each interface inspectedProvide photo-based evidence for identified non-conformitiesContribute to the preparation of structured technical files and presentation materialsSubmit daily progress updates and support weekly reporting as requiredEnsure traceability and quality of all measurement and inspection recordsFollow site EHS rules and all project safety requirements during executionWork closely with the technical focal points and site teams throughout the assignmentQualificationsDiploma or technical training in Mechanical, Industrial, Measurement, Quality Control, Rail, or equivalentProven experience in dimensional control, geometry checks, measurement activities, or industrial inspectionExperience in railway, rolling stock, monorail, transport, or industrial equipment projects is highly preferredAbility to read and apply technical procedures and inspection instructionsExperience preparing inspection reports, records, or technical documentationComfortable working on-site in an operational project environmentGood knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and OutlookStrong attention to detail and accuracyAble to work with autonomy while maintaining daily reporting disciplineTechnical ToolsMeasurement gauges for gap and flush checksCamera / photo device for inspection evidenceMS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Additional InformationImmediate mobilization requiredAssignment based in CairoShort-term field mission on a strategic mobility projectCandidates with prior experience in rail / rolling stock / monorail measurements will be strongly preferredAdditional InformationCandidates who are interested in to work for 2 months duration only please apply.Other all candidates will be automatically rejectedPlease note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
