Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Graduate Internship Trainee in the VITE R&I Team, you will be actively involved in:Conduct user research and assist in developing personas to guide design decisions.Support the creation of wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes for automotive instrument cluster and infotainment systems.Design, develop, and maintain high-performance 3D applications for vehicle driving and parking scenarios using the Unity engine.Implement advanced camera systems for different perspectives including third-person, first-person, and bird’s-eye views.Optimize rendering and game logic for smooth performance across target platforms (PC, Android, iOS, or embedded systems).Assist in applying design guidelines and maintaining style consistency across platforms.Collaborate closely with developers to ensure design feasibility and responsive implementation.Conduct usability testing sessions and gather actionable feedback for design iteration.Contribute to documentation of design process, rationale, and user feedback.Participate in design critiques and team brainstorming sessions to improve user experience.Iterate quickly on design concepts based on stakeholder input and research findings.QualificationsRequired Skills & QualificationsAcademic Status: Must be a 2024- 2025 Graduate.Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a closely related field.Language Proficiency: Excellent command of both English and Arabic (written and verbal communication is essential). French is a strong plus.Basic knowledge of UX design principles and human-centered design methodology.Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar).Understanding of responsive and mobile-first design.Familiarity with creating and applying design systems or style guides.Strong proficiency in Unity (preferably Unity HDRP/URP) and C# for real-time 3D application development.Familiarity with Unity’s input system and integration of control peripherals (keyboard, gamepad, steering wheel).Understanding of real-time rendering, lighting, and shader programming for realistic visualization.Proficiency in working with version control tools such as Git.Ability to interpret user research and usability testing data into design improvements.Collaborative mindset with good communication and documentation skills.Comfort working in an agile, office-based prototyping environment, iterating quickly on UI/UX ideas.Preferred (Plus): Experience in designing automotive instrument clusters or infotainment screens.
