Preparing for a Finance & Accounting role

  • Quantify everything. "Grew accounts by 40% in 8 months" beats "managed a book of accounts" by a wide margin.
  • Bring one concrete deal story per interview round — the situation, what you owned, what the outcome was.
  • For B2B / enterprise roles expect an assessment-style exercise: prospecting plan, mock discovery call, or account-planning task.
  • Fluent Egyptian Arabic + strong English is often the real filter for field / mid-market roles — call it out on your CV.
