Head of Refrigeration and Mechanical Department

📍 Abo Rawash- GizaKey Responsibilities:- Prepare preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance plans and ensure their proper implementation.- Monitor the operation and maintenance of machines, equipment, and refrigeration systems to ensure continuous and efficient performance.- Ensure the availability of required spare parts and follow up on spare parts requests submitted by technicians.- Review and verify received spare parts to ensure they match the required specifications.- Implement maintenance programs for motors, switches, control devices, protection devices, and all related equipment and machinery.- Participate in complex maintenance activities when required, especially those related to refrigeration and mechanical systems.- Assign tasks to technicians according to maintenance schedules, priorities, experience, and technical capabilities.- Follow up on preventive maintenance activities as well as urgent and emergency maintenance cases.- Inspect equipment performance issues, identify causes of breakdowns, and coordinate with technicians to resolve malfunctions.- Supervise the dismantling, repair, replacement, and maintenance of equipment parts when needed.- Prepare technical reports covering maintenance issues, root causes, corrective actions, and proposed solutions.- Maintain accurate records of all mechanical and refrigeration maintenance activities.- Document technical problems faced by maintenance teams and ensure records are properly maintained.Requirements:- 15+ years of overall experience in refrigeration, mechanical maintenance, or engineering maintenance.- Strong hands-on experience in ammonia refrigeration systems is required.- Previous experience in cold storage, refrigerated warehouses, food manufacturing, logistics, or industrial refrigeration is highly preferred.- Experience as a SCADA system user is highly preferred.- Strong technical background in preventive and corrective maintenance.- Strong leadership and team management skills are required.
