Head of Risk Management (Engineering Background)

Develop and maintain the organization’s enterprise risk management (ERM) framework, policies, and proceduresIdentify, assess, and prioritize risks across business units and functionsDesign and implement risk mitigation strategies and internal controlsMonitor emerging risks and changes in the regulatory or business environmentLead risk assessments, risk workshops, and scenario analysesPrepare and present risk reports, dashboards, and recommendations to senior management and the boardEnsure compliance with regulatory, legal, and governance requirementsCollaborate with internal audit, compliance, legal, finance, and business teamsOversee incident management, root cause analysis, and corrective action plansPromote a strong risk-aware culture across the organizationSupport business initiatives by providing risk advisory and decision-making inputQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in engineering / management – Mandatory.Master’s degree in project management, Risk Management, or Engineering Management – Preferred10+ years overall professional experience.At least 3 years dedicated to risk management, project risk assessment.Experience in infrastructure, utilities, or large capital projects – Mandatory.Local Experience in Egypt is a mustFluency in Arabic & English language is a must.
