Shehabco is seeking a qualified HVAC Engineer specialized in ventilation design, shop drawings, engineering calculations, smoke management, and stair/lobby pressurization systems.Job Summary:We are seeking a qualified HVAC Engineer specialized in ventilation design and smoke management systems to lead engineering calculations, shop drawings, and system coordination across multidisciplinary projects. The role ensures full compliance with international codes and civil defense regulations while supporting installation, testing, and commissioning activities.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop ventilation systems including fresh air, exhaust, kitchen, toilet, and car park ventilation in accordance with project requirements and international standards.Perform detailed engineering calculations including airflow, static pressure, heat load, and Air Changes per Hour (ACH).Design and validate smoke management systems, including smoke extraction and stair/lobby pressurization systems.Ensure full compliance with NFPA (92, 90A, 101), IBC/IMC, British Standards, and Egyptian Fire Code regulations.Prepare coordinated HVAC shop drawings, BOQs, and technical submittals aligned with architectural, structural, electrical, and fire protection disciplines.Coordinate cause-and-effect matrices with fire alarm systems and ensure Civil Defense compliance.Select HVAC equipment based on technical performance, efficiency, and project specifications.Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning phases.Supervise and execute TAB procedures, airflow measurements, stair pressurization testing, and smoke system functional testing.Ensure quality assurance and adherence to project timelines and safety standards.Job RequirementsMinimum five (5) years of experience in Electrical Power Engineering and work activities.Extensive knowledge of installation, testing, and commissioning of Electrical Power Engineering.Excellent ability to read, analyze, and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing in English and/or Arabic.Excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook.Knowledge of working with AutoCAD is preferable.Sounds good?
