Manage local and international sourcing and purchasing of chemical raw materials.Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.Negotiate prices, payment terms, shipping terms, and contracts with local and foreign suppliers.Coordinate all import/export documentation including invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and shipping documents.Follow up shipments from order placement until final delivery.Ensure compliance with import regulations, customs requirements, and safety standards related to chemical materials.Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and supply chain departments.Handle customs clearance procedures and resolve any shipment or logistics issues.Analyze market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.Prepare periodic reports related to purchasing, imports, shipment status, and supplier performance.Coordinate with finance department regarding payments, L/Cs, bank transfers, and related documentation.Ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality and cost efficiency. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Chemistry, or related field.Proven experience in local and foreign purchasing/import operations, preferably in chemical materials.Strong knowledge of import regulations, customs clearance, and international shipping procedures.Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.Good understanding of Incoterms, shipping documents, and logistics operations.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.Very good command of English language.Experience Required5–10 years of experience in import and procurement operations.Previous experience in chemical or industrial manufacturing companies is preferred.SkillsNegotiation SkillsCommunication SkillsProblem SolvingTime Management
