Information Technology Network Administrator

About the Role:The IT Administrator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the organization's information technology systems. You will be responsible for the configuration and support of infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.Responsibilities:System Administration: Administer servers and workstations, manage user accounts and permissions, and troubleshoot performance issues.Network Management: Configure and maintain routers, switches, and firewalls while monitoring connectivity and data security.Security and Compliance: Enforce security policies, conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments, and ensure regulatory compliance.Technical Support: Provide end-user support for hardware and software issues and collaborate with team members to resolve complex technical challenges.Backup and Disaster Recovery: Develop, implement, and test backup plans to ensure data integrity and availability.Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of system configurations, network procedures, and IT policies.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Required Skills:Proven experience in IT administration, support roles, and routing/switching configurations.Administering Windows Server, Linux, or other server operating systems.Cloud infrastructure management (Azure, AWS, or Oracle Cloud).Virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.Hands-on experience with customer-focused ticketing solutions and ITIL frameworks.Fluency in English and Arabic.Flexibility for shifts and travel as required.Preferred Skills:Strong knowledge of networking, security, and system administration.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to evolving technologies.Commitment to customer focus and executing tasks with excellence.
