The IT Procurement professional will manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for hardware, software, networking equipment, and related IT services, including vendor selection, quoting, negotiations, and purchase order processing. The role includes coordinating with internal technical teams to define requirements, validate configurations, and ensure alignment with infrastructure standards and security policies. The individual will monitor contracts, renewals, and service-level agreements, track inventory and asset lifecycles, and support budget planning and cost optimization initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities also involve resolving procurement-related issues, maintaining accurate documentation and procurement records, and supporting stakeholders with timely, customer-focused service.QualificationsStrong foundation in Information Technology, with familiarity with common hardware, software, and networking products and solutions.Experience working with Network Administration and understanding of Network Security requirements to align procurement with technical and security standards.Proficiency in Troubleshooting procurement and vendor-related issues, including delivery discrepancies, configuration mismatches, and warranty or support escalations.Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, vendors, and partners.Background in IT procurement, purchasing, or supply chain, preferably within an IT, systems integrator, or managed services environment.Strong negotiation, contract review, and vendor management skills, with attention to cost optimization and value-based purchasing.Excellent organizational, analytical, and documentation skills, with proficiency in procurement tools and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Ability to work on-site in Cairo, Egypt, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, procurement or supply chain certifications) are an advantage.
