Infrastructure System Engineer

Job Purpose:To manage and support the enterprise infrastructure including storage systems, backup operations, Windows servers, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms, ensuring optimal performance, security, and business continuity.Key Responsibilities:Manage Virtualization Platforms (such as VMware, VxRail, or Nutanix), including Manage, configure, and monitor Storage Environments (SAN, NAS, Object Storage).Implement and maintain Backup and Replication Policies to ensure data protection and disaster recovery readiness (Networker and Avamar) Administer and maintain Active Directory services including domain controllers, DNS, GPOs, and user management.Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments.provisioning, clustering, and performance optimization.Execute and maintain Backup Operations and verify backup success across systems.Conduct regular health checks and proactive monitoring of infrastructure components.Participate in troubleshooting and resolving system outages and performance issues.Maintain accurate infrastructure documentation and operational procedures.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.5+ years of experience in infrastructure management.Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware or equivalent.Hands-on experience with SAN/NAS storage systems and enterprise backup solutions.Good understanding of disaster recovery and business continuity planning
