Internal Audit Assistant Manager

The candidate will be located 50% from Gouna office and 50% from Cairo office Participate in Kick-off, Understanding, and validation meetings and assist in developing audit programs and risk assessments for assigned audits.Define detailed audit stepsGather, analyze, and evaluate data to identify control gaps, inefficiencies, and areas of risk.Supervise and perform audit fieldwork in accordance with IIA standards and departmental guidelines.Ensure audit working papers are complete, accurate, and properly cross-referenced.Evaluate internal controls, assess compliance with policies, and test the adequacy of processes across operations, finance, and real estate projects.Identify audit findings, discuss results with risk owners, and propose practical recommendations.Ensure audit work is completed within scope, budget, and timelines.Draft audit findings and recommendations for review by the Internal Audit Manager.Participate in closing meetings with department heads and prepare summary reports on key issues identified.Follow up on management action plans and report progress updates.Ensure all audit assignments adhere to departmental quality standards and professional auditing practices.Maintain confidentiality and objectivity throughout the audit process.Recommend continuous improvement of audit methodologies, templates, and procedures.Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and guidance to other supervisors, when required.Promote teamwork, accountability, and ethical behavior within the audit team.Assist in special investigations or ad-hoc assignments as directed by the Internal Audit Manager.Coordinate with other departments to facilitate smooth audit execution.
