Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced IP Backbone Engineer to design, operate, and optimize a high-availability IP backbone network within an ISP environment. The role focuses on core routing, MPLS services, traffic engineering, and upstream connectivity to ensure network stability, scalability, and performance.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and operate IP backbone network infrastructureConfigure, monitor, and troubleshoot OSPF, BGP, and IS-ISManage MPLS backbone services including L2VPN and L3VPNApply Traffic Engineering to optimize bandwidth utilization and resiliencyOperate and maintain Internet Gateway (IGW) and upstream ISP connectionsConfigure and optimize BGP options (policies, attributes, peering, filtering)Use BFD to ensure fast failure detection and network stabilityTroubleshoot complex backbone and interconnection issuesEnsure high availability, redundancy, and service continuityTechnical RequirementsMinimum 3 years of experience in IPBBstrong hands-on experience with:OSPF, BGP, IS-ISMPLSL2VPN / L3VPNTraffic EngineeringIGWBGP OptionsBFDSolid ISP knowledge, including upstream and peering connectionsExperience working with large-scale IP backbone networks
