The OpportunityThe IT Infrastructure Lead is responsible for leading, operating, and continuously improving the country’s IT infrastructure services. This role ensures the availability, reliability, security, and scalability of infrastructure platforms, while managing infrastructure teams and budgets. The Infrastructure Lead works in close collaboration with the Country CIO and regional IT leadership to support business objectives, regulatory requirements, and technology transformation initiatives.How You’ll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)Infrastructure Leadership & OperationsLead and manage country-level infrastructure teams, including network engineers, system administrators, IT support staff, and cloud/infrastructure specialists.Oversee day-to-day operation, maintenance, and enhancement of IT infrastructure, including:Servers and operating systemsNetwork and security infrastructureStorage and backup platformsCloud and hybrid infrastructure servicesEnsure high availability, performance, reliability, scalability, and security of all infrastructure services in line with business and regulatory expectations.Establish and enforce infrastructure standards, operational procedures, and best practices.Business Continuity & ResilienceLead disaster recovery (DR), backup, and business continuity planning for all infrastructure components.Ensure infrastructure recovery strategies are tested, documented, and aligned with business impact and regulatory requirements.Coordinate infrastructure participation in business continuity exercises and audits.Budget & Financial ManagementOwn and manage the infrastructure budget for the country, including:Hardware and data center costsInfrastructure and platform software licensesMaintenance and support contractsOperational and service delivery costsPrepare, track, and control infrastructure expenditures, ensuring cost efficiency and compliance with approved budgets.Identify opportunities for cost optimization, standardization, and rationalization without compromising service quality or resilience.Collaboration & GovernanceWork closely with the Country CIO on cross‑functional initiatives, including:Major IT transformation programsEnterprise and infrastructure architecture decisionsOverall country IT financial planning and prioritizationCollaborate with regional and global IT teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and strategies.Escalate any role overlaps, decision conflicts, or governance issues to regional IT leadership or the relevant governance forums for resolution.Risk, Compliance & SecurityEnsure infrastructure environments meet information security, risk management, and regulatory requirements.Support audits, regulatory reviews, and compliance assessments related to infrastructure services.Partner with cybersecurity and risk teams to implement and maintain appropriate infrastructure controls.What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)Strong leadership experience managing multi‑disciplinary infrastructure teams, not less than 8 years of experience.Deep technical knowledge across:Data centers, servers, networks, and storageCloud and hybrid infrastructure platformsBackup, recovery, and resilience technologiesProven experience in budget ownership and financial controlStrong understanding of IT governance, risk, and complianceExcellent stakeholder management and escalation skillsAbility to operate effectively in a matrixed, regional/global IT model
