The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, security, and performance across all systems, with strong troubleshooting abilities and hands-on technical expertise in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Server Management: Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers (Windows & Linux).Backup & Recovery: Develop and manage backup and disaster recovery strategies.Load Balancer Management: Configure and maintain load balancers (HAProxy, NGINX, F5).Network Administration: Manage switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs.Security Management: Implement security controls (firewalls, antivirus, IDS/IPS).User Support: Provide L2/L3 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.Monitoring: Monitor systems performance and ensure compliance with security policies.Windows Server: Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, and related services.Virtualization: Administer Hyper-V and VMware ESXi environments.VDI Management: Manage VMware Horizon VDI infrastructure.Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and improve system performance.Documentation: Maintain up-to-date technical documentation.Patch Management: Ensure systems are updated with latest patches.Automation: Develop scripts (PowerShell / Bash) for automation.Disaster Recovery: Support DR planning and testing. Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).Experience: Minimum 4–5 years in System Administration.Certifications (Preferred):CompTIA A+ / Network+ / Security+Microsoft Certified (Azure / Windows Server)VMware CertificationsRequired Skills:Strong experience in Windows Server & LinuxExperience with load balancers (HAProxy, NGINX, F5)Solid knowledge of networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)Hands-on experience with Hyper-V & VMware ESXiExperience with VMware Horizon (VDI)Basic knowledge of Cloud (Azure / AWS)Backup & disaster recovery solutionsStrong troubleshooting skillsGood communication and teamwork skillsNice to Have (Optional):Database administration (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Cassandra)Database backup & recovery experienceRequirements:Minimum 4 years experience as System AdministratorArabic and English speaker (Required)Ability to work on-site in Egypt and travel when needed
