Key Accountabilities • System Monitoring: Implement and manage monitoring solutions to ensure the continuous availability and performance of IT systems. • Incident Management: Identify, diagnose, and resolve IT incidents to minimize downtime and impact on business operations. • Performance Analysis: Analyze system performance data to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement. • Reporting: Generate regular reports on system performance, incidents, and improvements for management and stakeholders. • Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams and other departments to support business operations and projects. • Compliance and Security: Ensure monitoring practices comply with relevant regulations and standards, and implement security measures to protect organizational data. • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance monitoring and IT service delivery. Qualifications, Experience & Skills • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA) are a plus. • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT operations or monitoring. • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of IT monitoring tools and technologies, including network, server, and application monitoring. Proficiency in IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL). • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. • Project Management: Experience in managing IT projects, including planning, execution, and delivery. • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
