Junior AR Accountant

With a collective strength of 10 brands, we have more than 200 million monthly users that trust in our dedication to providing them with the best platform for their needs.As the Junior AR Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the Accounts Receivable processes, including invoicing, payment validation, reconciliation, and responding to customer inquiries. You will be responsible for ensuring accuracy in financial transactions, maintaining records, and supporting the finance team in month-end closing activities.Responsibilities:Invoicing:Generate and review B2C invoices for Dubizzle and Bayut after verifying customer payments, credit memos, and total amountsDisplay invoices and respond to sales requests for invoice delivery (soft copy or hard copy)Payment Validation and Reconciliation:Review unallocated payments and ageing reports to ensure accurate application to invoicesValidate and file WHT receipts, verifying WHT on Jarvis, and posting it on NetSuiteReconcile Paymob transfers, incoming checks, bank transfers, cash payments, and checks with bank statementsCollections Management:Monitor unapplied payments and advance payments, ensuring proper invoicing and reconciliationReview ageing reports for open invoices or unapplied payments, taking appropriate actionsFinancial Reporting and Compliance:Prepare and submit monthly financial reports, including ageing analysis and E-invoicing reconciliationUpload invoices, credit memos, and customer information on tax portals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax regulationsProcess Improvement and Documentation:Develop and maintain policies and procedures to improve accounts receivable processesCreate contracts for sales agents, update the contracts tracker, and file documents related to payments and contractsCommunication and Collaboration:Communicate with sales and sales ops teams regarding invoice status, payments, and customer inquiriesCollaborate with the AR team and Sales Ops Team daily to ensure the timely resolution of issues and completion of tasksMonth-End Closing:Assist in monthly closing activities, including invoicing, bank reconciliation, posting and depositing paymentsRequirementsQualifications:BS degree in Finance or AccountingExperience:0 - 2 years of proven working experience as an Accounts Receivable AccountantKnowledge:Good understanding of accounting principles, credit practices and collection regulations Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting softwareSkills:Good interpersonal and communication skillsGood analytical skillsTraits:Customer-orientedHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detailBenefitsA fast paced, high performing teamComprehensive Health InsuranceLife InsuranceRewards & RecognitionsLearning & Development opportunities#Egyptdubizzle
