1. Overview : We are seeking an experienced L2 Unified Communications Engineer to maintain and enhance our unified communication and IP telephony systems. This role focuses on UC infrastructure, voice solutions, Contact Center and Conferencing. 2. Responsibilities : • Support and troubleshoot unified communication systems including Cisco Call Manager, Unity Connection, Instant Messaging and Presence Servers, and Contact Center Servers, Voice Gateways “CUBE Recording Billing and CC”. • Support Video conference Cisco CMS Video Conference and WebEx meetings over cloud. • Configure and manage VOIP Cluster components and provide implementation support at remote sites. • Integrate and troubleshoot call recording solutions and maintain collaboration applications • Participate in design discussions for continuous improvement of the VOIP segment. • Optimize network settings for VOIP/Multicast and optimal UC performance. • Provide medium-level technical support to end users, addressing UC and collaboration-related issues and inquiries. • Provide emergency on-call support and rapid solutions for new UC requirements. • Configure and troubleshoot network devices to ensure optimal performance. • Develop and enforce network policies, standards, and best practices. • Provide emergency on-call support and rapid solutions for new network requirements. • Utilize network monitoring tools for daily and monthly performance reporting and documentation. • Able to handle VLAN routing, tagged and untagged interfaces, DHCP options, and connectivity troubleshooting. • Maintain network infrastructure using Cisco routers, switches.3. Requirements : • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in unified communications engineering with a specialization in Cisco technologies. • Cisco Certified (CCNA-CCNP Collaboration) or equivalent certification is highly preferred. • Experience with Cisco Collaboration products and SIP technologies and conferencing. • Good understanding of VOIP terminologies and unified communication concepts. • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills. • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Adaptability to a fast-paced and evolving technology environment. 4. Skills : • Advanced knowledge in Cisco (Cisco Unified communications solutions including IPT and CC and conferencing). • Strong understanding of network protocols and monitoring tools. • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities. • Team player with strong communication skills. • Knowledge of networking (optional but advantageous). • Experience with network and enterprise-level networking.
