Reports to: Director, AUC Venture LabPurpose: To manage the startup investment track and operations of AUC Angels, designing and implementing a comprehensive curriculum for the AUC Venture Lab. This role is pivotal in capacitating high-net-worth individuals to become angel investors, preparing startups for investment through financial mentoring, and managing the entire deal lifecycle from sourcing to closing. Additionally, the job holder will build and maintain strategic relationships with the board of advisors, mentors, and the wider entrepreneurship ecosystem.Responsibilities:Program Management and Strategy:Manage AUC Angels strategy, overseeing the operations of four sub-programs, i.e. investors’ training, Startup investment readiness, deal management, and network managementDesign curriculum, developing and implementing the investment track curriculum for the AUC Venture LabSet KPIs, working with the Director, AUC Venture Lab to define program goals, launch training products, and measure successInvestment and Deal Flow:Train investors, managing the content and execution of the investors’ training program to capacitate high-net-worth individuals as angel investorsPrepare startups, running the investment readiness program to guide shortlisted startups on securing investment, including financial and operational documentationManage deals, overseeing the entire deal lifecycle, from sourcing and screening startups to due diligence, negotiation, and closing, while coordinating with legal consultantsStakeholder and Network Management:Grow the network, managing the network management program to recruit new investors and help them expand their industry connectionsManage board relations, acting as the primary liaison for the AUC Angels Board of Advisors, presenting strategies and updates on program performanceCoordinate with partners, managing relationships with mentors, community partners, and the AUC Venture Lab core team for marketing and logisticsAdditional Related Duties:Perform other related duties as assignedQualifications and Skills:Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in a related field is requiredMaster’s degree is a plusMinimum of 12 years of work experienceExperience in the entrepreneurship field is essential Technical Skills:Technical: Excellent computer and internet skillsCommunication: Excellent Arabic and English writing and speaking skills, with ability to present effectively to high-profile stakeholdersSoft Skills: Self-motivated, highly driven, entrepreneurial personality, and critical thinker with sound judgment.Organizational: Highly organized, capable of multitasking, and prioritizing in a fast-paced environmentThis position is open until May 31, 2026Placement is based on the candidate’s experience and skills.
