Job Purpose: The officer will be responsible for executing HR operations related to staff with accuracy and compliance in line with AUC policies. He or She processes compensation and benefits actions, staff movements, and separations, maintains accurate employee data in SAP, and supports reporting and process improvements to ensure efficient HR operations.Core Responsibilities:Staff Support:Serve as the primary point of contact for staff inquiries across multiple channels, e.g. in-person, phone, email, or front officeHR Operations:Process daily staff affairs and compensation actions, including onboarding, offboarding, transfers, leaves, appointments, and adjustments, ensuring strict compliance with university policiesBenefits Management:Execute and monitor all employee benefit programs, e.g. pension, health or life insurance, and school loans, maintaining alignment with university policyHR Documentation:Ensure accuracy, quality, and integrity of staff operations documentation in accordance with AUC policiesHR Systems Management:Maintain and update staff data accurately in the SAP or Success FactorsPolicy Communication:Communicate HR policies, benefits, and procedures clearly and professionally to university membersPayroll Support:Process overtime documents ensuring compliance with HR policiesEmployee Records:Maintain proper filing and archiving employee records based on employment statusReporting and Analysis:Generate periodic HR reports and provide relevant data analyses as neededProcess Improvement:Contribute to evaluating and improving HR operational workflows to enhance efficiency and service deliveryGeneral Administrative Support:Perform other administrative duties as requiredQualifications:Education and Experience:Bachelor’s Degree Required, HR Diploma is an assetSeven to nine years of previous experience including three years related experience in HRExperience in university or large institution is preferredSkills:Language and System Proficiency: Excellent command of English and Arabic languages. Proficient with MS Office and experience working with a known HCM system , e.g. SAP or Success FactorsTechnical Knowledge: Good knowledge of labor law requirements, social insurance, and sanctions proceduresCore Attributes: Detail-oriented, dependable, and trustworthyPossesses initiative thinking, a customer service orientation, and strong analytical skillsInterpersonal and Communication: Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skillsAbility to maintain excellent teamwork spiritOrganizational Management: Ability to organize and prioritize workflowProven ability to manage and complete multiple tasks within deadlinesJudgment and Ethics: Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment and discretion with different groups and maintain confidentialityThis position is open until July 19, 2026.Placement is based on the candidate’s experience and skills.
