Our solutions help asset-intensive organizations decrease over-stocking, reduce downtime, manage obsolescence, and strengthen supply chain resilience through advanced digital inventory and distributed manufacturing technologies.We partner with some of the world's largest Oil & Gas and industrial companies, supporting mission-critical operations where reliability, quality, and trust are essential.The RoleImmensa is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team in Cairo.In this role, you'll work on scanned/mesh files to generate CAD models, execute reverse engineering and re-design of functional components, and prepare detailed engineering drawings to ASME Y14.5 and company standards.What you'll do: • Reverse engineer and re-design mechanical components and assemblies • Read 3D scanned data (STL, dimensions, surface features, material, hardness) and translate it into final CAD models and 2D drawings • Review designs for accuracy, functionality, and manufacturability • Define tolerances based on fitment requirements to guide manufacturingWhat you bring: • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering • 3-5 years of experience in reverse engineering / CAD design of functional components • Hands-on experience with SolidWorks (Geomagics DesignX a plus) • Skilled in reading and generating manufacturing drawings, with knowledge of dimensional tolerance and surface fitment terminology • Familiarity with laser 3D scanners is a plus
