Job Title: Medical Operations Director – healthcare centre Location: new Cairo, Egypt (with travel to Mansoura)Our client is a leading fertility and women’s health group in Egypt, providing advanced IVF/ICSI, gynecology, endoscopic surgery and reproductive health services. The group is expanding in Cairo and strengthening its clinical and operational systems to support sustainable growth and premium patient experience.Role SummaryWe are seeking a senior Medical Director to provide overall clinical leadership for the Center and to direct the day‑to‑day medical operations of the facility. The role combines strategic medical oversight, clinical governance, quality and safety, and operational management of all medical services including outpatient clinics, IVF units, operating theatres and support services.Key Responsibilities:Serve as the Medical Director accountable for the quality, safety and ethical standards of all medical services in the center.Lead and coordinate daily medical operations across clinics, IVF/ICSI services, operating theatres and diagnostic units, ensuring efficient, safe and patient‑centered care.Approve and regularly update clinical policies, protocols and SOPs in collaboration with senior consultants and department heads.Plan and optimize doctors’ rosters, clinic schedules, theatre lists and on‑call coverage to ensure adequate capacity and minimal waiting times.Supervise and mentor physicians and multidisciplinary clinical teams (doctors, nurses, embryologists, anesthetists and patient‑care staff).Ensure compliance with national regulations, licensing requirements and professional standards for fertility and women’s health centers.Work closely with the CEO and other directors to support new services, packages and expansions, ensuring clinical readiness and operational feasibility.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Medicine At least 8 years of post‑graduate clinical experience in hospitals or medical centers, including 3+ years as a Medical Manager.Proven experience leading medical operations in a fertility center, IVF unit, women’s health center or similar specialized facility.Demonstrated responsibility for clinical policies, protocols, SOPs and quality / patient‑safety programs.Experience supervising multidisciplinary clinical teams and managing doctors’ schedules, clinics and operating theatres.Familiarity with fertility/IVF standards, patient pathways and relevant regulations in Egypt.Strong leadership, communication and decision‑making skills, with fluency in Arabic and good command of English.How to ApplyIf you meet the criteria and are looking for a leadership opportunity in a reputable medical facility, please apply or send your CV tobleaders.eg@gmail.com with the subject “Medical Director”.
