Work Location:10th Of Ramadan, EgyptMain Purpose Of The JobEnsure the safety of the facility and all personnel against fire hazards. Achieve compliance with all legal, governmental, and civil defense requirements and corporate directives. Develop and implement preventive measures to minimize fire-related risks.Key Responsibilities1. Legal and Governmental Compliance:Review local fire safety laws and regulations to ensure compliance.Coordinate with Civil Defense authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals for the new plant.Prepare and submit regular reports to governmental authorities as required.2. Design and Installation of Firefighting Systems:Assess the plant’s needs and design appropriate firefighting systems (e.g., sprinkler systems, gas suppression systems, alarm systems, etc.).Supervise the installation of firefighting systems to ensure adherence to technical specifications and regulatory standards.Conduct regular system testing to ensure readiness and functionality.3. Emergency Planning and Training:Develop comprehensive fire emergency plans, including safe evacuation routes.Organize regular fire drills and training sessions for employees on fire response, extinguisher use, and evacuation procedures.Evaluate training outcomes and recommend improvements.4. Inspection and Maintenance:Conduct regular inspections of all firefighting equipment and systems to ensure efficiency.Oversee preventive maintenance and repairs in coordination with the maintenance team.Ensure all fire extinguishers, hoses, and other tools are available and properly located.5. Risk Management:Perform periodic fire risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.Identify critical risk points and implement corrective measures to reduce fire outbreak probability.6. Coordination with Corporate Directives:Align all firefighting processes and systems with corporate guidelines and ensure consistency with other company facilities.Submit regular progress and compliance reports to the corporate safety team, including improvement recommendations.7. Incident Response:Lead the firefighting team in the event of a fire.Investigate fire incidents, analyze root causes, and prepare detailed incident reports.Job Requirement:Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably mechanical engineering or a related field).Years of Experience: 5+ years of experience with an industrial background.Language: Arabic – Very good English.Computer skills: Excellent MS Office skills.Technical competencies:Proven experience in designing and implementing firefighting systems, especially in industrial facilities.Comprehensive knowledge of local fire safety laws and regulations.Strong report writing and communication skills, especially with government entities.Leadership skills and the ability to manage teams effectively.Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD).Experience with advanced firefighting systems (e.g., FM-200, gas suppression systems, etc.).Strong analytical and planning capabilities.
