Finance work at Kuehne+Nagel, means more than we imagine.‎The Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial planning, reporting, and compliance. The role supports management decision-making through budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, while ensuring adherence to local laws, tax regulations, and internal controls.How you create impactManage and oversee all finance and accounting operations, including general ledger and financial controlsPrepare, review, and publish monthly financial statements and management reportsCoordinate budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support business planningSupport month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timelinessEnsure compliance with local laws, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirementsCoordinate regulatory reporting and liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and banksOversee tax activities including VAT, WHT, payroll tax filings, payments, and tax inspectionsMaintain financial schedules and records (FSL, accruals, open files, loss files) and resolve technical accounting issuesWhat we would like you to bringBachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldMinimum 5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, including senior-level responsibilityStrong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controlsSolid understanding of local tax regulations, VAT, WHT, and statutory complianceExperience coordinating with external auditors and managing audit processesStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsHigh attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesStrong communication and teamwork skillsFluent in English and ArabicWhat's in it for youAt Kuehne+Nagel you can demonstrate your personal and professional attributes.
