As we accelerate our expansion strategy, we are seeking a dynamic leader to spearhead our business in the fast-growing North African market.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Strategy & Market DevelopmeDevelop and implement a comprehensive regional business plan to achieve aggressive sales targets for VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, and Servo systemAnalyze market trends and the competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and verticals (e.g., renewable energy, HVAC, heavy industry)Drive market penetration by building a robust sales pipeline and securing key projects in strategic industries.Channel & End-User ManagementIdentify, recruit, and manage high-performance distributors and system integrators across North Africa (key focus on Tunisia, Algeria, and MoroccoProvide training, technical support, and go-to-market strategies to channel partners to maximize their performanceDirectly manage and grow relationships with key end-user accounts (OEMs and industrial manufacturers), ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty .Team Leadership & OperationBuild and lead a high-performing regional sales team (or manage virtual teams effectively) to ensure alignment with company goalCoordinate with internal technical support and product management teams to ensure seamless project delivery and customer supportOversee local marketing activities, including trade shows and customer events, to build brand awareness in the regionn.QualificationsEducation & ExperieEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related technical field. MBA is a strong plusExperience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in automation product sales (VFD, PLC, HMI, Servo), with at least 4 years in a regional management or senior leadership roleIndustry Knowledge: Proven track record of successfully selling automation solutions in the North African market. Candidates must demonstrate a deep understanding of the local business culture, market dynamics, and import/export regulationSkills & CompetentLanguage: Fluent in English (written and spoken) is mandatory. Proficiency in French and/or Arabic is highly preferNetwork: Demonstrable existing network of distributors, integrator, and end-user contacts within the North African industrial sectorSkills: Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. Ability to think strategically while executing operationsAvailability: Willingness to travel extensively within the North African region (up to 50% of the time
