Job Purpose:This position ensures the rigorous assessment and accountability of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation’s (CEI) projects. The role is responsible for designing and implementing the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) strategy, ensuring that all programmatic activities align with the project’s logical framework and performance management system. Administers the entire data lifecycle, from baseline collection to analysis, and produces critical technical reports to demonstrate impact to international donors and partners.Core Responsibilities:M&E Strategy and Framework Design:Design and implement a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation strategy aligned with the project’s goals and objectivesCollaborate with the donor’s M&E team to agree on the performance monitoring framework and ensure complianceSupport the development of an M&E system, ensuring that robust tools are in place to track progress effectivelyLead the monitoring activities to ensure the proper implementation of project activities against the designData Collection and Analysis:Manage the data collection process, including completing a baseline study to establish benchmarksMaintain a secure and efficient data storage system, i.e. database, for all M&E activitiesAdminister the data analysis process, quantitative and qualitative, allowing access to insights through database toolsReporting and Project Assurance:Prepare and submit high-quality quarterly and annual reports to the donor, detailing progress and impactSupport the project manager in identifying challenges and risks to implementation, proposing corrective actionsShare the status of results and implementation progress regularly with internal stakeholders to guide decision-makingAdditional Support:Perform other related duties as requiredQualifications:Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in economics, political science, data sciences, or a related field is requiredMaster’s degree is an assetFive to eight years of total experience, including at least three years of professional experience specifically in an M&E positionPreference: Experience working with international organizations and women economic empowerment programsSkills:Technical: Demonstrated experience in quantitative and qualitative M&E methodologies, knowledge of data collection toolsAnalytical: Excellent analytical skills, being comfortable dealing with data aggregation and visualizationCommunication: Excellent written and oral English and Arabic skills for reportingSoftware: Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, WordInterpersonal: Strategic thinker with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with teamsThis position is open until May 7, 2026.Placement is based on the candidate’s experience and skills.
