The Operational Excellence Section Head is responsible for analyzing, designing, documenting, and optimizing business processes to deliver measurable operational and financial impact. The role focuses on quantitative process analysis, gap identification, solution design, and hands-on implementation, in close collaboration with business stakeholders and system teams. Key Responsibilities Process Analysis & Optimization Analyze end-to-end processes to identify gaps, bottlenecks, waste, risks, and control weaknesses. Apply quantitative analysis to assess performance, root causes, and improvement opportunities. Design and implement optimized future-state processes using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping. Process Design & Documentation Develop and maintain process maps, SOPs, and value stream maps using Microsoft Visio or similar tools. Ensure processes are clearly documented, standardized, and aligned with operational reality and governance requirements. Solution Implementation & Digital Enablement Lead the design, implementation, and follow-up of improvement solutions with clear KPIs and tracked benefits. Collaborate with systems, IT, and digital transformation teams to enable process automation, workflow digitization, and system integration. Support translation of process requirements into system or automation specifications. Data Analysis & Performance Management Use data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Minitab, or similar) to monitor KPIs, validate improvements, and quantify results. Track efficiency, cost, cycle time, quality, and productivity improvements pre- and post-implementation. Stakeholder & Change Management Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to define priorities, scope, and success metrics. Facilitate workshops, alignment sessions, and on-ground implementation to ensure adoption and sustainability. Continuous Improvement Culture Act as a subject matter expert in Operational Excellence and structured problem-solving. High performance and rewarding culture. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required. 5+ years of hands-on experience in process analysis, design, optimization, and implementation. Strong skills in process mapping (Visio) and data analysis (Excel, Power BI, Minitab). Proven ability to deliver quantified improvements in efficiency, cost, time, or quality. Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, including working with system/IT teams. Practical, execution-focused mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
