A Snapshot of Your DayAs an Operational Excellence Engineer, you will focus on enhancing operational efficiency across power generation services by identifying process gaps, implementing improvement initiatives, and ensuring strict adherence to safety and compliance standards. You will play a key role in driving a culture of continuous improvement and operational discipline while working closely with cross-functional teams. Your day will involve analyzing workflows, leading improvement projects, mentoring teams, and strengthening safety practices to support reliable and efficient power plant operations.How You’ll Make An ImpactAnalyze current operational processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities in alignment with company standards and industry best practices. Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and operational excellence methodologies. Ensure full compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards across all operational activities. Create, standardize, and maintain clear documentation for operational procedures and improvement initiatives. Provide training and coaching to teams on continuous improvement tools, operational excellence principles, and safety practices. Facilitate workshops and awareness sessions to strengthen team capabilities and promote a safety-first culture. Establish performance metrics, KPIs, and reporting systems to measure operational performance and track improvement progress. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive engagement, enhance service delivery, and embed a culture of continuous improvement. What You BringBachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field. Strong leadership experience within the power generation sector or similar industrial environments. Technical knowledge of power generation equipment such as gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators. Proven experience in implementing operational excellence, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies. Strong commitment to safety standards and experience promoting a safety-driven culture. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and training skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills with experience in performance tracking, reporting, and operational planning.
