ResponsibilitiesReviews complete MPS weekly, acting on necessary items, such as releasing, rescheduling, or expediting orders.Identify the current planned level of demand and create tactical production plans to meet the identified customer demand. Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs calculations to determine required machine hours.Prepare and distribute the finite/weekly production schedule, along with reporting out deviations to the schedule and communicating those changes to the appropriate teams; Operations, Customer Service, etc. Work closely with plant Operations and Raw Material planners to balance the production schedule.Assist in resolving production and raw material supply conflicts, and work to improve efficiencies and processes Lead supply planning meetings to discuss upcoming production plans and potential constraints that could impact the plan.Reconcile plant demand with manufacturing and distribution capabilities, enabling a rapid response to changing requirementsRequired Skills & Experience2-4 years of experience in Supply chain planning in a manufacturing environment.Bachelor's degree in Engineering.Strong system skills, Oracle, Excel, VBA.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and negotiation skills - written and verbal, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
