1. SummaryA storekeeper is responsible for managing and maintaining inventory, receiving and issuing materials, ensuring proper storage of goods, and keeping accurate stock records. The role helps ensure smooth warehouse and store operations by maintaining stock availability and preventing losses.2. Job Responsibilities:Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and supplies.Store goods properly and ensure safe handling of inventory.Issue materials and products according to company procedures.Maintain accurate stock records and inventory reports.Conduct regular stock counts and physical inventory checks.Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess inventory.Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety of the store/warehouse.Prepare purchase requisitions for replenishment of stock.Verify delivery notes, invoices, and other inventory documents.Coordinate with procurement, production, and other departments regarding stock requirements.Identify damaged, expired, or obsolete items and report them to management. Required Skills and QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (certificate/diploma in inventory management is an advantage).Experience in storekeeping, warehouse operations, or inventory control, preferably familiar with elevator materials.3-5 years of experience minimum in a similar position.Knowledge of inventory management systems and MS Office.Good organizational and record-keeping skills.Attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Basic mathematical and reporting skills.Good communication and problem-solving abilities.Previous industry experience is preferredEnglish skills are preferredStrong people and interpersonal skillsWorking Conditions:Work in warehouses, retail stores, factories, or construction sites.May require lifting, carrying, and moving inventory items.May involve shift work depending on business requirements.Will coordinate with main warehouse for any transactions
