The Personnel Specialist is required to apply Labor Law and University Employment rules, regulations and procedures, in the areas of personnel record keeping, payroll, and Personnel documents processing and related personnel transactions functionsResponsibilities:• Supports the new employee orientation process; ensures that all required new employee forms are properly prepared and signed;creates new employee personnel files.• Creates and updates employees' profiles on the HITS.• Navigates and manages data within the time and attendance system.• Processes data related to current employees with respect to Human Resources Forms: Justifications, Leaves, VoluntarySeparations, etc.• Provides statistical information and reports as requested by the Personnel Manager.• Composes letters, memorandums, lists, and other materials according to established procedures.• Manages and administrates the Life and Medical insurance enrollment and claims for the employees.• Files and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports.• Maintains scheduling and event calendars.Job Requirements:• Bachelor Degree / HR diploma is an asset.• (2-3) years of experience in the Human Resources Department.• Excellent Knowledge of Egyptian Labor Law & Social Insurance procedures.• Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important tasks.• Excellent command of both spoken and written English.• Excellent analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills.• Self-motivated, eager to help and motivate others.• Punctuality and commitment to working hours, policies, and procedures.• High Computer skills (MS Office applications)• Ability to accommodate additional work requirements upon need as well as extended working hours.
